In the early eighties, the Titus' began their ministry, “Christ for India” in the eastern coastal town of Visakapatnam, India. In 1984, God Loves Kids began supporting the children at New Life Children’s Home.
In the beginning of the ministry, classes were held outdoors under a tree because of a lack of classrooms. Now they have established not only an orphanage and school with dormitories, but also a Bible School, home for the aged, a vocational training center and a school of nursing.
There is a strong emphasis on academics and a personal and active relationship with Christ. An older child is assigned one of the newer children entering the school to be a big brother or big sister to them. Many of the children who have lost family, recieve a new family when they join the school.
The children who attend New Life Children’s Home are very well cared for. They receive an excellent education and great Biblical principals.
The children are happy and are given hope for a better future. They are truly a light unto their world. Many accept Jesus as their Savior and bring that Truth to their families as well.
